Spartan Installtion Guide

Prior To Installing Your Spartan Turbocharger, You Will Need To Diagnose The
Reason Your Original Turbocharger Failed (If It Failed), Failure To Do So Will
Result With Another Blown Turbocharger. (Old Age Did Not Blow Your Turbo!)
Pre Install Checks.
* Purchase A Replacement Oil Line.
* Check Exhaust Manifold Surfaces For Straightness.
* Replace Engine Oil & Filter.
* Replace Air Filter, Do Not Use K & N Style Filters.
* Clean Out Turbo Air Inlet Pipe, Check For Splits In The Hoses.
* Oil Pressure Test, Must Be Within Spec Or Turbo Will Fail.
* Check Catalytic Converter & DPF To Ensure There Not Clogged Up.
* Check Inlet Manifold For Carbon Build Up,
* Check EGR Is Moving Freely & Free Of Carbon.

Fitting Notes.
* No Silicon Is To Be Used On The Oil Feed/Drain Flange, Doing So Will Void
Warranty Immediately.
* Turbocharger Must Be Pre Lubed Prior To First Start, We Include JLM Lubricants
Pre Lube With Your Turbocharger, Simply Add To Your Oil Feed Hole Whilst
Turning The Compressor Wheel.
* Disconect Your Crank Shaft Sensor Or Something That Will Stop The Car Starting
And Crank Engine With Oil Line Disconnected To Verify The Engine Is Making
Good Oil Pressure And Flow.
* Ensure You Are Getting Your Turbo Fitted By A Workshop, We Do Not Warrant
Home Installations.

Tuning Notes.
* Copy And Paste Tunes Will Not Work With These Turbochargers, If You Can Not
Re Write The Software, Stop And Walk Away.
* Spartan Turbochargers Are Built And Tested To A Certain PSI Rating, Please
Follow These Ratings. You Will Find The PSI Rating On The Turbo Build Sheet
Provided With This Turbocharger.
